Because I do so much custom work, I’ve not had a lot of extra time to work on things for the shop and my inventory is dismally low. So, this past couple of days I’ve been working on remedying that. I spent one whole day just cutting, folding, measuring and pinning so when I was ready, everything else would be ready. That really helped as the next day I discovered I had finished a couple of projects earlier than anticipated. So, I threaded my sewing machine and went to work. I am happy with the colorful results. I love
sewing hula pa’u for keiki (children). Next I would like to make some aloha shirts for boys or men. And, maybe some more adult pa’u. Are we having fun yet? Yes, we are!
The fabric you use for your creations are lovely. You must have a lovely time using them. I think the red retro patterned one is my favourite of the ones here. Are they made in Hawiaii?

Beautiful work. Being a “purple” gal myself, that top one really stands out.

I am a “red” girl — when I enter my closet, red is the predominant color. So I really love your “retro” print skirt ♥

The fabrics are made in Honolulu. It’s funny but when I bought the red fabric I didn’t think it would be such a hit, but the more I saw it, the more I liked it.

It is fun getting a little ahead for a change, but now I have five custom orders to get out in one day! But, that’s just as much fun. I took some creative license with them as they are for 6-8 yr. olds and the white flower border is really wide so had to make some adjustments for them to have some color other than white. But, they’re looking good.
